Stroke Foundation NZ ‘Beanie Up’ campaign
An event every day that begins at 12:00 am, repeating until July 31, 2019
The Stroke Foundation is launching a new campaign called “BEANIE UP” to raise vital funds for our services for stroke survivors, their families/whanau and carers. These will be of particular use as the winter approaches.
We are asking people to buy a beanie and “Beanie Up” in June to support our work with stroke survivors. Beanies can be purchased online using the “Beanie Up” website (beanieup.co.nz) or we can supply display boxes that hold 15 beanies. They are also available from Community House, 301 Moray Place, Dunedin.
Each year, approximately 9,000 New Zealanders have a stroke – that’s one every hour. Many people (and their families) live with ongoing effects from stroke. These effects can be challenging to cope with, and can change the future path for people and their families. This June, Kiwis can purchase a beanie for just $10 and support stroke survivors throughout the country. Thanks for getting behind us!
